My Blogging Love (a poem)

My Blogging Love

O, back in the day

When we would play

On a place called MySpace

I looked around,

Then I did found

A wondrous thing called Blogging.

I scratched my head,

And then I said,

“I better get to talking!!”

I had to learn

So much stuff

Like formats, stats, and kudos.

I even found out

If I made a good post

I’d be in a really great mood-os!

Then the times changed

And we all rearranged,

And moved to a site that’s called Facebook.

I tried to dive in

And connect with old friends,

But lo! I missed my blogging nook.

I explored the web

And found many a place

To get out my random words.

I tried different styles

And spanned virtual miles

With adjectives

Nouns

And verbs.

I figured out how

To upload fun stuff

Like images and videos,

I stayed up all night

On my electronic device

While eating delicious cheetos.

I discovered that

Blogging here

On WordPress, by and by

Is dandy and fine

Like a well-made rhyme

Because the site is

Pleasantly sublime.

There are other places

I also enjoy

Blogger is one of them.

They give me freedom

To blog my brains out

Like a daisy doth dance on her stem.

All in all

I must now say

The solution to feeling groggy

Is a cup of hot tea

A turned-off TV

And a nice fun little bloggy.
